What Are Eyelash Extensions?
Eyelash extensions are used to enhance the length, curliness, fullness, and thickness of natural eyelashes. There are three types of lash extensions: synthetic, silk and mink. The main method of applying the extensions on is by using an non-toxic adhesive glue to individually sticking them to the eyelashes one-by-one. This is to prevent the eyelashes from sticking together and look more natural.
How long will a set of Eyelash Extensions last?
Eyelash extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your own eyelashes. Depending on your activity and day-to-day routine, refills should only be required every 2 to 4 weeks.
Are Eyelash Extensions safe?
The biggest myth is that lash extensions ruin your own lashes. They do not. If applied correctly and properly, eyelashes adhere about 1mm away from your skin. Be sure not to rub your eyes or tug or pull on the extensions because this can causelash loss and even damage to your natural lashes.
Can I apply mascara to Eyelash Extensions?
We do offer a water-based mascara for those who feel the need especially nearing time for the next refill. Never use oil-based or waterproof mascara products as they will either dissolve the glue holding your extensions to your eyelids.
How do I take care of my new eyelash extensions?
Avoid getting lashes wet for the first 24-48 hours.
How long will it take to apply eyelash extensions and how is it done?
The application process for lash extensions normally takes about 90-120 minutes for a full set of lashes and 45-60 minutes for a refill. You will lay comfortably on a massage table with your eyes closed while relaxing ambient music is played in the background. During application, your lower lashes will be covered and the extensions will be applied only to your upper lashes one at a time.
What happens if I choose to have my eyelash extensions removed?
We do offer a service to have the extensions removed involving a short thirty-minute appointment in which we apply a gel remover.
